First reported by CNBC Airline Reporter Leslie Josephs (Josephs, 2020), the United States (U.S.) Federal Aviation Administration (F.A.A.) has released an “FAA Statement on the Return of the Boeing 737 MAX,” according to Federal Aviation Administration (2020). The New York Times, the Cable News Network (C.N.N.), the Washington Post, Fox Business, and the Seattle Times have all reported the action.

Currently the global fleet of Boeing 7378 and Boeing 7379, 737 MAX 8 & 737 MAX 9, respectively, is three-hundred and ninety (390) aircraft with seventy-two (72) registered in the United States (U.S.), according to the Federal Aviation Administration-a (2020).

After personally completing the new pilot training requirements and personally flying a complete flight in the State of Washington (U.S.A.), in the Captain Pilot Role for approximately two (2) hours, F.A.A. Chief Administrator Steve Dickerson B.S., J.D. signed the F.A.A. Order today, dated 11/18/2020, clearing the Boeing 737 MAX to fly again in Global Commercial Service capacities once all required criteria are met, according to Federal Aviation Administration-b (2020).

The United States (U.S.) Federal Aviation Administrative (F.A.A.) Chief Administrator & Director Steve Dickerson B.S., J.D. characterizes the process of returning the Boeing 737 MAX aircraft to commercial service as “long and grueling“. I agree with that yet, I would reasonably think the words “chronically agonizing” may be more representative in many instances.

The Boeing Company responded to the U.S. F.A.A. order today in a press-release stating:

The FAAs directive is an important milestone,” said Stan Deal, president and chief executive officer of Boeing Commercial Airplanes. “We will continue to work with regulators around the world and our customers to return the airplane back into service worldwide.”

In addition to changes made to the airplane and pilot training, Boeing has taken three important steps to strengthen its focus on safety and quality.

  1. Organizational Alignment: More than 50,000 engineers have been brought together in a single organization that includes a new Product & Services Safety unit, unifying safety responsibilities across the company.
  2. Cultural Focus: Engineers have been further empowered to improve safety and quality. The company is identifying, diagnosing and resolving issues with a higher level of transparency and immediacy.
  3. Process Enhancements: By adopting next-generation design processes, the company is enabling greater levels of first-time quality,” according to The Boeing Company-b (2020).

The Immediate Financial Impact:

On the New York Stock Exchange (N.Y.S.E.), The Boeing Company stock (N.Y.S.E. Exchange Symbol: BA) closed yesterday (11/17/2020) at $210.02 United States Dollars (U.S.D.) per share. Today (11-18-2020) with the ignition of the Boeing 737 MAX being cleared for takeoff by the F.A.A, The Boeing Company stock (N.Y.S.E: BA) opened the day at $223.02 U.S.D. The six-point-two percent (6.2%) overall increase is the highest price for The Boeing Company stock (BA) stock since June of this year (06-2020 [A.D.]), as reported by The Street Investor Analyst Bret Kenwell, according to Kendell (2020). The immediate spike in BA stock this morning upon opening bell of the N.Y.S.E. was constantly eroded throughout the day resulting in a closing stock price for The Boeing Company of $203.30 U.S.D.; 3.328% Lower than the day before, or yesterday (11/17/2020), according to Yahoo Finance (2020). The Dow Jones Global Industrial Average Indexs (Dow Jones Global Indexes: I.N.D.U.) overall rating for the N.Y.S.E. closed out the day down three-hundred and forty-four point nine three points (-344.93), according to the Cable News Network (C.N.N.) Business Division (2020).

At the end of the day, the F.A.A. Boeing 737 MAX order did not even materialize into a “ZeroSumGain” for The Boeing Company stockholding stakeholders. Regardless, today’s F.A.A. order repairs a catastrophic fault line AND crevice in the foundation of The Boeing Company to stabilize, grow, and evolve in the agile global climate.

F.A.A. Order Executive Summary

The U.S. F.A.A. has concluded its twenty (20) month, or one point six-six-six (1.666) years, exhaustive investigation and review. The investigation and review by the F.A.A. is the most comprehensive, robust, rigorous, detailed, deep, and extensive in the ninety-four (94) year history of the U.S. F.A.A. Today (November 18, 2020 [A.D.]) the U.S. F.A.A. publicly released a ninety-nine (99) page summary report of its investigation entitled: Summary of the FAA’s Review of the Boeing 737 MAX: Return to Service of the Boeing 737 MAX Aircraft”. The summary report can be directly accessed and read by Clicking RIGHT HERE.

The report definitively identifies seven (7) “Identified Issue” (s), or safety issues, as follows:

  • “USE OF SINGLE ANGLE OF ATTACK (AOA) SENSOR”
  • “MCAS RESET GENERATES REPETITIVE MCAS COMMANDS”
  • “MCAS TRIM AUTHORITY”
  • “FLIGHTCREW RECOGNITION AND RESPONSE”
  • “AOA DISAGREE: The AOA DISAGREE”
  • “OTHER POSSIBLE FCC STABILIZER RUNAWAY FAILURES”
  • “MAINTENANCE PROCEDURES RELATED TO THE MCAS”

The centric focus and root cause of these reported issues is the Boeing 737 MAX‘s new Maneuvering Characteristics Augmentation System, or M.C.A.S., and associated systems (i.e. Angle Of Attack [A.O.A.] sensor systems, etc.).

The Boeing Company built and designed the M.C.A.S. system for the Boeing 737 MAX to counteract and provide pitch sensitivity control the more powerful Safran LEAP1B engines exclusively utilized in the latest edition of the Boeing 737 product line.MCAS is designed to activate in manual flight, with the airplanes flaps up, at an elevated Angle of Attack (AOA),” according to The Boeing Company-b (2020).

The F.A.A. followed a transparent, publicly open and responsive process with over five-hundred and fifty (>550+) public comments received, starting with the initial formal report filing to the emergency action required triaging, in order to be able to take the action, taken today.

In order for Boeing 737 MAX operators to fly their aircraft commercially for profit, each aircraft must meet new F.A.A. regulatory compliance guidelines in the areas of aircraft and design, including: 1) Updating the M.C.A.S. Flight Control Laws Software, 2) Updating Related Changes to the M.C.A.S. Flight Control Laws Software Updates, and 3) Pilot Training Enhancements, according to the Federal Aviation Administration-c (2020).

The F.A.A. order instructs: “to allow the 737 MAX to return to service based on completion of the following actions:
 FAA approval of the amended aircraft design.
 Issuance of the AD that mandates specific actions that owners or operators must take to correct the unsafe condition.
Additionally, the following conditions are prerequisites to resuming operations in the U.S.:
 For previously delivered 737 MAX airplanes, owner/operators must incorporate all FAA-mandated design changes and maintenance actions.
 For any future delivered 737 MAX airplanes, Boeing is required to incorporate the same mandatory actions.
All US air-carrier pilots must complete the 737 MAX special training described in the 737
FSB report before serving in a 737 MAX airplane.

The FAA will issue a CANIC for the 737 MAX that provides information to the global
aviation community on a comprehensive set of actions that must be taken by
owner/operators to ensure a safe return to service. The FAA will issue the CANIC before it
issues an AD containing mandatory continued airworthiness information (MCAI). As other
CAAs consider returning the 737 MAX to service in their jurisdictions, the FAA strongly
recommends:
 CAAs with 737 MAX aircraft on their respective registries should mandate the pilot
training identified in the 737 MAX FSB report as a minimum starting point.
 Each State of Registry is responsible for the continued airworthiness and continued operational safety (COS) of aircraft on its registry.

Accordingly, all States of Registry should adopt the final FAA AD and mandate the same changes in their own systems”, according to Federal Aviation Administration-b (2020).

The F.A.A. issued the one-hundred and fifteen (115) page Airworthiness Directive (A.D.) (A.D. 2020-24-02) as a reference for Boeing 737 MAX operators to comply with today (11-18-2020 [A.D.]). Readers, The Boeing Company Stakeholders, Air Travelers, and Boeing 737 MAX Operators may directly access, read, and download the A.D. in Adobe Acrobat PDF format by Clicking RIGHT HERE.

The Boeing 737 MAX Pilots and Operators Flight Training Departments may access, read, and download the newly revised Flight Training Requirements Guide Book, dated 11-16-2020 (A.D.) in PDF file format by Clicking RIGHT HERE.

The F.A.A. has also issued a two (2) page “Continued Airworthiness Notification to the International Community” that can be accessed, read, and downloaded by Clicking RIGHT HERE.

Moreover, the F.A.A. has rescinded its previous order of “Emergency Order of Prohibition” ([A.D.] 2018-23-51) of the Boeing 737 MAX, effective today (November 18, 2020 [A.D.]), effectively lifting the global grounding order on all Boeing 7378 (737 MAX 8) and 7379 (737 MAX 9) aircraft. The four (4) page F.A.A. rescinding order in PDF format can be immediately & directly accesses, read, and downloaded by Clicking RIGHT HERE.

All U.S. Airlines will now be required to obtain F.A.A. certification for their updated specific flight training programs for the Boeing 737 MAX according to the new binding training requirements enacted today.

For the time being every new Boeing 737 MAX will be inspected by the F.A.A.

Finally, the F.A.A. has an Archived Reading Room immediately available to the public that includes: All documentation discussed herein, Sworn In Testimony, Speeches, etc., which can be immediately accessed, read, and downloaded by Clicking RIGHT HERE.

The Globally Traveling Public, Pilots, and Global Operators of the Boeing 737 MAX can be supremely confident & assured that when they board a Boeing 737 MAX for a flight; it is the most safest narrow-body airline transport category aircraft in the world, here on terrestrial Planet Earth that is.

HAPPY THANKSGIVING, HOLIDAY SEASON, and NEW YEARS THE BOEING COMPANY, BOEING 737 MAX STAKEHOLDERS, United States (U.S.) & Global Airlines, THE United States Federal Aviation Administration, and The Boeing Company Chief Executive Officer (C.E.O.) Dave L.Calhoun!!!!!!!!!!!

Product Synopsis and Overview

What is “PushBack”? What is “Pushback Express”? What or Who is FS2Crew?

For anyone that has experienced the air travel for leisure, vacations, occupation, and/or business on an airline transport category aircraft, including Boeing (e.g. B737, B757, B767, B747-X, etc.], Airbus [e.g. A319/320/321, A340, A380+, etc.], McDonald Douglas [e.g. MD-11, MD-80, etc.]; Bombardier Canada Regional Jet [C.R.J.], Embraer [E-175, etc.], De Havilland Dash 8 (e.g. Q800, etc.), Beech-1900D, Cessna Caravan, etc., after all passengers and flight crew have boarded and all luggage and cargo is loaded; all aircraft doors are closed and the Jetway arm (i.e. Jetbridge, Jetwalk, Gangway, Airbridge, etc.) is retracted by the gate jetway operator away from the aircraft. Next a heavily weighted low-profile utility vehicle attaches to the nose wheel strut of the aircraft by the vehicle operator, whom is in constant, direct verbal & coordinated communication with the aircraft flight crew. The vehicle, called a Pushback Tug or Pushback Tractor, pushes the aircraft back to the beginning of the parking gate taxi route at a safe distance to begin the engine(s) start sequence. In some instances the Captain of the flight may elect to begin the engine(s) start sequence while the pushback is being conducted. The entire process is called the “Pushback”.

Score: 9/10

Manuals:

FS2Crew provides two (2) manuals with the Pushback Express for the Microsoft Flight Simulator product. One manual is provided for the “MAIN OPS MANUAL” or button control version and a second for the “VOICE CONTROL MANUAL” version, with seven (7) pages and eleven (11) pages of content, respectively, both in Adobe Acrobat Digital Content (DC) PDF file format.

Both manuals are comprehensive, complete, concise, succinct, sufficiently & functionally detailed, well organized, functional, and sufficient. Graphical illustrations are sufficient and well placed throughout both documents. Both manuals are well written, easy to read, helpful, and positively beneficial.

Both manuals could use some graphic creativity, effort, and work to provide a more aesthetic & elegantly pleasing reading experience. Perhaps, even the FS2 Crew color logo on the corner, or at the top or bottom, of each page would be a great help to this deficiency.

Score: 8/10

User Interface Quality:

The Graphical User Interface (G.U.I.) is well designed, crafted, self-intuitive, and easy to use. Button animations and associated sounds, or Eye & Ear Candies, would be Great enhancements.

Score: 8/10

Graphics Quality:

The only graphics the product delivers is the Graphical User Interface (G.U.I.) reviewed above. The G.U.I. functionality is sufficient. However, the graphic appearance of the the G.U.I. is below reasonable industry acceptable standards (i.e. substandard). The G.U.I. Resolution of images, lines and texts are both fuzzy and diffuse. The graphical quality of the G.U.I. itself, the buttons, and the button animations are in dire need of some work to say the least.

Score: 5/10

Functionality Quality:

The FS2Crew Pushback Express is Very Functional and Greatly adds to the stock M.S.F.S. Pushback Experience.

Score: 10/10

Final Scoring Summation and Grade:

40 Out Of 50 Points

80%

Final Grade: B

Based on the Globally & Universally Accepted, Non-Refractorly Controversial 4.0 Grading Scale; Just so We are in the same book.

Recommendation:

The FS2Crew Pushback Express provides a notable and significant upgrade to the fidelity of the Microsoft Flight Simulator Pushback Experience. However, there are some visual aesthetic problems. The list price of the product is attainable in most industrialized countries and regions.

I recommend the purchase of The FS2Crew Pushback Express.

Moreover, I highly recommend the purchase of the FS2Crew Pushback Express during the monthlong November Black Friday Sale with 30% off the list price with the Coupon CodeBLACK2020“. The FS2Crew Pushback Express product can be directly purchased from the FS2Crew Pushback Express product specification page by Clicking RIGHT HERE. The new General Electric (G.E.) Aviation GE9X engine was specifically developed and built for the new Boeing 777X widebody airline transport category aircraft, according to Pallini (2020). The new GE9X engine will exclusively power the new Boeing 777X aircraft (Pallini, 2020).

The GE9X engine size is described as massive” by Andrew McIntosh (McIntosh, 2020).

“The most advanced technologies and materials: A blend of evolutionary and revolutionary designs will enable the GE9X to be the most fuel-efficient jet engine GE has ever produced on a per-pounds-of-thrust basis. It’s designed to deliver a 10% improved aircraft fuel burn versus the GE90-115B-powered 777-300ER and a 5% improved specific fuel consumption versus any twin-aisle engine available, plus achieve an approximate 10:1 bypass ratio, a 60:1 overall pressure ratio and margin to Stage 5 noise limits,” according to General Electric (2020).

The above video is directly sourced from G.E. Aviation: https://www.geaviation.com/commercial/engines/ge9x-commercial-aircraft-engine

New design features of the GE9X Turbojet engine include sixteen (16) Carbon Fiber Composite fan blades and a compressor with a compression ratio of twenty-seven to 1 (27:1) “the highest ever in aviation,” according to General Electric Aviation (2020).

The Boeing Company and General Electric (G.E.) Aviation said “the GE9X engine is designed to consume 10% less fuel compared to the older GE90-115B engines and 5% better “than any other engine in its class.” The big engines also will help airlines cut smog-causing emissions,” according to McIntosh (2020).

“”It takes the world’s best talent in jet propulsion to create a game-changing product like the GE9X engine,” GE Aviation President and CEO John Slattery said in a statement,” according to McIntosh (2020).” GE9X program General Manager Karl Sheldon said company officials are pleased with the performance of the engine following extensive ground and flight testing by Boeing. Eight GE9X test engines completed just under 5,000 hours and 8,000 cycles to win the required FAA certification, the company said” (McIntosh, 2020). McIntosh (2020) continues ““There is no substitute that can achieve the combination of size, power and fuel efficiency of the GE9X. This engine will deliver unsurpassed value and reliability to our airline customers,” Slattery said.”

Additional details and some specification of the GE9X Engine can be viewed and read by Clicking your Left Mouse Button RIGHT HERE.

GE Aviation said its focus remains on working with Boeing to complete the 777X flight test program and entry into service for airlines, which the Chicago-based jet maker recently delayed until 2022,” according to McIntosh (2020).

The Boeing 737 MAX Case Study Analysis Report (Dated August 13, 2019), By David M. Edwards B.S., M.B.A. can be viewed, read, and/or downloaded by Clicking Your Left Mouse Button RIGHT HERE.

The Boeing Company’s Boeing 737 MAX is the latest extension of the historic Boeing 737Baby Boeingproduct line, dating back fifty-five (55) years to 1965 (A.D.), according to The Boeing Company (2020). Ultimately, the Boeing 737 MAX has been grounded for over eighteen (18) months, or over a year and a half, since March 13, 2019, when the United States (U.S.) President Donald J. Trump Ordered the grounding, according to Edwards (2019). The global grounding of the Boeing 737 MAX was in response to two international airline crashes resulting in three-hundred and forty-six (346) human fatalities and no survivors. Both international (i.e. European Aviation Safety Agency [E.A.S.A.], etc.) and United States (U.S.) (i.e. U.S. Federal Aviation Administration [F.A.A.]) federal regulatory organizations have been conducting testing to determine if the Boeing 737 MAX is safe to fly again commercially in these unprecedented scenarios and situations. The Boeing 737 MAX Case Study Analysis Report (Dated August 13, 2019), By David M. Edwards B.S., M.B.A. can be viewed, read, and/or downloaded by Clicking Your Left Mouse Button RIGHT HERE.

Prior to the paralyzing and bankrupting effects of the Corona Virus-19 (COVID19) Disease Pandemic being credibly identified and justly acknowledged (Edwards, 2020), the estimated costs of the Global Grounding of the Boeing 737 MAX were expected to exceed eighteen point seven (18.7) billion United States Dollars (U.S.D.); $18.7 Billion U.S.D., according to Gelles; Isidore; and Rushe (2020). Thus, a credible, recalibrated, and recalculated estimate of the cost of the global grounding of the Boeing 737 MAX taking into account the effects of the COVID19 Disease Pandemic has yet to be determined and/or disseminated.  It does not take imagination, courage, fathoming, fearlessness, heroism, boldness, and/or fantasizing to acknowledge and/or comprehend the accumulated financial costs and financial burdens of the Boeing 737 MAX grounding continues to accumulate astronomically, with no reasonably conceivable end in sight and/or mind. Regardless of the U.S. Internal Revenue Service (I.R.S.) tax maneuvers, tactics, strategies, and/or campaigns by The Boeing Company, the airline stakeholders, airlines that have a direct vested role, effect, and stake, of the Boeing 737 MAX may as a whole be losing, or eating, a one (1) billion ($1 Billion) U.S.D. per week loss, mirroring other estimates, according to Ziemelis (2019).

In a Remarkable move, the U.S. Federal Aviation Administration (F.A.A.) Chief and Director Steven “Steve” Dickson personally flew the latest patched up Boeing 737 MAX from the Captain‘s seat in the cockpit on Wednesday September 30, 2020 for approximately two (2) hours originating from King County International Airport & Boeing Field in Seattle, Washington United States of America (U.S.A.), according to general media outlet reports.

The U.S. F.A.A. has published the below video of the flight conducted by U.S. F.A.A. Director Steve Dickson on the video conduit YouTube.com

Director Dickson graduated from the U.S. Air Force Academy in 1979 and a Georgia State University Law School Magna Cum Laude graduate with a Juris Doctorate (J.D.) law degree, according to the U.S. Federal Aviation Administration (2019). After serving as a U.S. Air Force Boeing F15 pilot and officer, Director Dickson worked as a pilot at the U.S. Delta Airlines attaining the role of Captain in the Airbus A320 with additional flying experience in the Boeing 727, 737, 757, and 767 aircraft. Delta Airlines promoted Captain Dickson to Senior Vice-President of Global Flight Operations with duties including the following: Operational Performance, Pilot Training, Crew Resources Utilization, Crew Scheduling, and Regulator Compliance, according to the U.S. Federal Aviation Administration (2019). Director Dickson eventually retired from Delta Airlines. Based on his elite education, experience, and service, Director Dickson was both competent and prepared to confidently be sworn in on July 24, 2019 by U.S. Department of Transportation Secretary Elaine L. Chao following U.S. Senate Confirmation (U.S. Federal Aviation Administration, 2019). Director “Dickson is a strong advocate for commercial aviation safety and improvements to our National Airspace System, having served as chairman of several industry stakeholder groups and Federal advisory committees,” according to U.S. Federal Aviation Administration (2019).

The general media outlets reported Director Dickson met with the U.S. F.A.A. field team directing the oversight of the Boeing 737 MAX recertification for a couple days prior to his flight on September 30, 2020. Director Dickson prepared for the flight by completing the currently purposed pilot ground training and flight training in a high-fidelity level-D (6-degrees of freedom) full-motion flight simulator, according to general media reports.

Director Dickson provided The Boeing Company some reassurance to their efforts for the Boeing 737 MAX recertification stating “I like what I saw on the flight,” following his flight, according to Muntean and Wallace (2020). However, Director Dickson later stated “That doesn’t mean I don’t have some debrief items going forward” and “not so much in the procedures, but in the narrative that describes the procedures” (Muntean & Wallace, 2019). While the additional work for The Boeing Company has apparently yet to be formalized and publicly announced and/or recorded, this latest move indicates that the U.S. F.A.A. recertification of the Boeing 737 MAX is indeed moving forward. Director Dickson has previously declared he will not clear the Boeing 737 MAX to fly unless he feels safe putting his own family on the aircraft to fly.

“Since the site was chosen for Chicago’s new airport in 1945, O’Hare has quickly grown into one of the busiest and most well-known airports in the world. Take a look at how O’Hare has changed over the years, and how we continue to change and update Chicago’s number one gateway to the world,” according to FlyChicago.com. OHare International Airport Becomes the “World’s Busiest Airport”: 1960-1969″ FlyChicago.com. A history summary of the Chicago OHare international airport can be read by Clicking RIGHT HERE.

I enjoyed solo-transversing through the Chicago OHare International Airport (KORD) in the early 1990’s, as an early aged teenager, between connecting fights on the way to see my brother; whom was in TopRanked (In the Top 5 Nationally [U.S.A.], possibly ranked #2 or #1 at the time) PhD level graduate school for Economics at the University of Minnesota at the time. My brother’s PhD advisor, Edward C. Prescott Ph.D., eventually won the Nobel Prize in Economics in 2004. I distinctly recall having a solo conversation that was both pleasant and cerebral with Dr. Prescott at a bar in Taipei, Taiwan immediately surrounding the events of my brothers wedding in early to mid-summer (i.e. June through July) 2001, prior to the New York, NY (U.S.A.) terrorist events of 9/11/2001. At the time I had just earned my instrument pilot rating and was starting my commercial pilot training at the WestWind School of Aeronautics in Phoenix, Arizona (AZ) (U.S.A.). I also had a GREATTTTTTT time in Hong Kong, and Beijing China being able to walk on the Great Wall of China at the exact same location President Clinton visited (pictures of him at the site were on display), my mother was with me on this international trip. The drive out to the Great Wall of China took some time over an hour each direction; including a top for a local farmer to clear the two lane concrete road of the rice, grain, beans or the like he was drying, I would guess. Tiananmen Square surrounded by the entire Chinese Government Apparatus is Unique. I was uncomfortable with buying the “Book of Mao,” in Tiananmen Square and did not do so as it was being sold by people in the square. We were taken to local factories, one of which was hand painting small ceramics products (e.g. vases, jewelry, etc.) While in Beijing, we were told by out two personal and dedicated guides not to leave the hotel at night. Of Course, as a young twenty-six (26) year old single male, I did not Comply. Outside of our hotel was a long street made up of American commercial restaurants (i.e. McDonalds, Starbucks, Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC), etc.) presumably to lure and appeal to the the Olympic Selection Committees the open and fair business practices of China. Moreover, the Beijing air pollution was being vigorously purified at the time. We were driven around by our two dedicated guides in a white sedan automobile. The lead guide was a college student, whom spoke English pretty good, while the older guide primarily drove the car. On the freeways bicycles erratically weaved in and out of automobile lanes, with a density and speed that make Rush Hour Traffic at Times Square Manhattan New York, NY (U.S.A.) look slow and slothic. One night a middle aged (e.g. early to middle thirties) Chinese local artist befriended me and took me out on the town. He showed me his paintings Scribes and he gave me a few, or I bought them at a low price. Next he took me to a large dance theater and we watched a Magnificently Colorful and Choreographed Dance program from the balcony of a big theater that night. Additionally, he showed me more of the nightlife with a local street market with several barbeque scorpions on a stick, like kabobs, apparently an extremely exotic appetizer. The next couple of nights I went back alone and retraced come of the more FUN places from the original night out with the local Chinese Artist. Overall, the Communist Experience was generally Uncomfortable. Specifically, the Military Grade (i.e. Visible Automatic Rifles.) armed troops in the airport, the occasional military checkpoint within the city, and the government controlled television was altogether Unnerving. When we were leaving the Beijing Airport when on every television in the airport showed the announcement that Beijing had been awarded the 2008 Summer Olympic Games. We flew out of San Francisco (KSFO), California A (U.S.A.) on a UNITED AIRLINES Boeing 747400 to the new Hong Kong Airport. I had an aft right (starboard) wing window seat with Miserable legroom. After about a week in Hong Kong, we flew on an EVA Airlines Boeing 767 from HongKong to Taipei. My legroom on this flight was tolerable. We spent about five (5) days in Taipei for my brother’s wedding. Next , we flew on Hong Kong’s regional airline “Dragon Air,” owned by Cathay Pacific Airlines, from Taipei to Beijing, China. After spending about a week in Beijing, China we took a return trip to Hong Kong, again on “Dragon Air.” This flight was memorable because I noted the one of the pilots was an American and it appeared large pallets of Filled burlap bags were being loaded into the cargo bays of the Boeing 767 aircraft. Immediately after takeoff and up to the cruise level we had lightning surrounding the plane through the climb constantly. I do not recall any notable turbulence or thunder sounds yet, it was Quite Eerie until the lightning was not visible outside my window seat, across the aisle, and surrounding windows. Dragon Air is now owned by Cathay Pacific Airlines and has been ReBranded to Cathay Dragon.” Air Canada gave us a ride back to the U.S.A. on an Airbus A340. The solo Air Canada relief pilot was nice enough to chat with me during the inflight cruise phase over the Pacific Ocean, while I was standing in the cockpit entrance. Back to the Chicago OHare International Airport (KORD), I thought it was pretty cool to have flat escalator belts for travelers, given the vast walking distances. The mosquitos in the Minnesota summer were an uncontrollable and relentless parasitic nuisance.

I am a long-time, loyal, and huge fan & customer of the FS Dreamteam. Their products and customer service are of the highest quality and fidelity for a significant period of time. Obviously, and Naturally the Swiss have distinctly different general concepts and grasps of Quality, Style, Elegance, & Craftsmanship than most people. Specifically, I have super-enjoyed their Outstanding Hawaiian (U.S.A.) products including: Hawaiian Airports Volume 1 & Volume 2, and Honolulu Daniel K. Inouye International Airport (PHNL) (Hawaii [HI]; U.S.A.). I certainly hope FS DreamTeam will redesign these to current technology standards for the Microsoft Flight Simulator. Moveover, their Vancouver British Columbia (B.C.) International, Los Angeles International, Las Vegas MacCarren (KLAS), Fort Lauderdale-Holywood (KFLL),and New York John F. It is coextensive with the District of Columbia (the city is often referred to as simply D.C.) and is located on the northern shore of the Potomac River at the river’s navigation head—that is, the transshipment point between waterway and land transport. The state of Maryland borders the District of Columbia to the north, east, and west, and the state of Virginia borders the District on the southern shore of the Potomac River,” According to Brittanica (2020); Click RIGHT HERE to Access & Read.
