The previous Lockheed Martin (L.M) Captain (Board of Directors Chairman, President, and Chief Executive Officer [C.E.O.]) THE Marillyn A. Hewson Served and Demonstrated Unwaivering Steadfast Helmsmanship throughout her tenure in those Positions, Capacities, and Roles between January of the year 2014 and June of the year 2020.
The new Captain and Helmsman Conferred by the Lockheed Martin (L.M) Board of Directors is Jim D. Taiclet taking on the roles and responsibilities as both President and Chief Executive Officer (C.E.O.).
“On June 15, we welcomed Jim Taiclet as our new president and CEO. Jim succeeds Marillyn A. Hewson, who has served as chairman, president and CEO since 2014 and president and CEO since 2013. Jim is an experienced chief executive, military veteran and pilot and is widely regarded as one of America’s most successful CEOs. He will continue to serve as a member of the corporation’s board, which he joined in 2018. Marillyn is now executive chairman of the Lockheed Martin board of directors.”
